Clever pirates are master manipulators, playing everyone else for fools while they quietly sail away with a hold full of loot. Many of the cards in the Clever faction have recruit effects that allow you to manipulate the draw deck or your hand. This lets you get the cards you need to build the best crew around, while leaving everyone else with the dregs. With some of the more powerful Clever cards, you can truly start shuffling the draw deck in your favor. Recruit enough Clever crew members and the other players will surely be left staring into an empty treasure chest.
